Chicken Kiev - an angry Ukranain housewive method

Monday night Kim and I decided to have a shot at making one from scratch

Take two pieces of chicken wrap them in cling film and bash flat with a rolling pin. Crush/grind 3 garlic cloves and mix in with butter and chives. Put the butter in the middle of the chicken then roll the chicken length ways. Then panne the chicken raw, first roll in flour, then in beaten egg mix, then in bread crumbs  one after the other and place in a non stick oven dish/plate and put some more of the garlic butter on the top for extra taste. Cook at 180 for about 40 mins.

The finished product... happy cooking all

And following recipe from Mastering the Art of French Cooking Volune 1 (by you know who). Wishing Tor was here to help with 1) a photograph 2) pronounciation and 3) laughs in the kitchen.

how to:

First separate the eggs, then whisk over a gentle heat to a sabion and add the melted butter once clarified.

Add salt and pepper.

Then add white wine vinegar or lemon juice until sufficently tart then serve with Haddock or Salmon.
